📍Somalia. Dadaab Refugee Camp
This is absolutely devastating. It is the duty of each one of us to do something for our folks back home. Death caused by lack of basic needs such as food and water is the most difficult thing to grasp. • We are working on putting together a very large food distribution in Mogadishu. We are working with Habeeb Mental Hospital doctors and staff. If you’re interested in donating please donate via link in bio, or if you would like to put together a fundraiser in your town, or whatever idea you may have. Please message us, we would love to work with you! @msyusuf101
“When I grow up, I want to be a doctor”-Filsan, Age 5, Dadaab refugee camp. • It’s World Refugee Day. Let us take time to recognize the millions of Filsans around the world, whom despite all hardships and unbearable conditions no child should endure, they still show courage and strength. They’re my heroes, my inspiration. Happy World Refugee Day! @msyusuf101
Adeer said it best. Let’s celebrate, appreciate, and support those with disabilities today and every day.
Take care of your mental health. It should be a priority.
Eid Mubarak ❤️
Ramadan Day 23. “Search for the night of Laylatul Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan”.
Ameen ya raab 🤲🏼
Their smile makes everything we do worth it.
LONDON!!!! We are so excited to host our second Iftar fundraiser in London. InshaAllah #Iftaar4dadaab • @selma warsa @msyusuf101 @hs designs_ ❤️
May Allah accept whatever you’re asking for adeer.
This Ramadan! Ameen 🤲🏼❤️
Happy Mother’s Day to these amazing warriors, whom despite everything they face, their children come first. Somali mothers are some of the most selfless women I’ve ever known. When the odds are against her, she holds on to her Deen, never gives up, and deeply believes Allah has better plans for tomorrow. Wise beyond their years and dedicated to their families, we owe everything we are to them. They are our home, our wisdom, our confidant, our refuge, our rock, our beacon of hope. @msyusuf101
Those smiles. I pray they never stop smiling ❤️
No one has ever become poor by giving #ramadanvibes🌙
Ramadan blessings!!! Like this family, we would like to bring joy to as many families in Dadaab as possible this Ramadan. We’d like to provide mainly food, but also shelter and medicine. Please help us with our mission by donating. The link is in bio. For Dahabshil and PayPal, please message us. • Any charity given on this holy month is multiplied 70 times. Please share as well. May Allah reward you for your efforts Ameen ❤️ @msyusuf101
Thinking of all those who were with us last Ramadan but not this one. May Allah grant them jennah.
Heartwarming update from brother Mohamed Ibrahim and his younger brother, who has a mental illness and was mute when we met him. Now, both brothers make Ramadan wishes and DUA for all those who donated to them. They built themselves a home, younger brother to begin treatment, and they’re looking forward to Ramadan. My heart is full. May Allah accept their dua ameen ❤️❤️ • Post @msyusuf101
Ramadan always comes when you need it the most. Use it as an opportunity to change.
Silent no more.
One more week! May Allah allow us to reach this blessed month. Ameen!
Look at her smile!!!! MashaAllah. Some of you may remember haabo Wardiyo, who has 3 mentally ill daughters and cares for them. She was the first we met when we came to Dadaab, Kenya. She sent us this photo to let us know some of our Instagram family STILL support her. She’s starting her own business and built her family a home. May Allah reward every single one of you. Ameen.
Ameen ya raab 🙏 #ramadan2019

Laughter is the best medicine.
Ameen thumma Ameen. Only 15 days until Ramadan 2019. May Allah allow us all to reach this blessed month 🙏
All smiles as this beloved Ayeeyo receives $10,000 USD which is equal to million Kenyan dollars. She cares for both her mentally ill daughter and orphaned grandchildren. When found, they haven’t eaten for 10 days. They slept outside on the sand and some of the grandkids are now sick due to exposure. We are thrilled for them. She plans to build a forever home for the entire family and for treatment. To all those who donated, may you get your reward from Allah. Ameen • #mentalhealthisimportant @msyusuf101
My fellow Somalis, I challenge you to create the happiest and healthiest version of you. A lot of you are already there but most of us are working on it. - - To me, health is at least these things: deen, social, romantic partnerships, friends, family, physical fitness, sleep, travel, studying, hydration, and nutrition - The best way to increase your health and happiness is to write it down. Comment below what your health goals are? @msyusuf101
My heart is full. I’m over the moon for the hoyo who cared for her 71-year-old mentally ill husband that SO MANY of you have inquired about. This is the 3rd time she’s receiving funding. She plans to move to Nairobi so her Husband can receive treatment and she also plans to build the family a home. To all of you who have donated, here’s her Dua for you. To say I’m happy is an understatement. May Allah accept her Dua ameen ❤️ • Post @msyusuf101
Say InshaAllah 🙏
April is Autism Awareness Month. We celebrate Somali children like Yahya, 8, who has limited mental capacity and is unable to speak. Somali children are being born with Autism today more than ever so it’s important that we educate ourselves and end the stigma. It’s important we provide the resources they need and deserve. To our beautiful children and adults with Autism, we believe in you and we’re cheering for you! 🇸🇴 #AutismSpeaks • Post @msyusuf101
Did you know❓Half of all mental illnesses begin before the age 14. There’s zero treatment options for Somali children. It shouldn’t hurt to be a child❗️#mentalhealth #children
Talk mental health.
May Allah grant you the peace and relief you’re looking for. Whether HE heals you via treatment, therapy, or simply thru the Quran, may He grant you what you’re longing for. Ameen ya raab.
